Former manager Tommy McLean is back at Tannadice - in a coaching capacity! Current boss Alex Smith confirmed the move on his return from international duty with Scotland's Under-21s in Croatia. He hinted too that Paul Hegarty could be poised to join Tommy on a revamped coaching staff at the Club.
Said Smith,"Forget the fact that Tommy is an ex-manager of the Club, and brother of the Chairman. He has attributes which will prove to be invaluable to Dundee United. Should Paul accept our offer, he too will be able to pass on his experience and knowledge of success here at Tannadice".
