Alex Smith is admitting delight in the whereabouts of his on-loan front runners Blair Sturrock, David Winters and Stephen McConalogue.
The trio are currently guesting with Brechin City, Forfar Athletic and Morton respectively, and the Tannadice Manager feels that United will benefit in the long run.
Said Alex, "Both they and the Club will reap the rewards of plying their trade at a different level of the game. For instance, Blair is playing alongside the likes of Roddy Grant at Brechin, a player whose experience can only aid his progress. And at Forfar, it is vastly experienced Ian Ferguson who will assist in David Winters's progress. And no one will convince me otherwise than that both of our on-loan players at Greenock, Stephen McConalogue and Kevin McDonald, will benefit from playing in the First Division".
