Dundee United announced on Monday that they have agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with defender William Edjenguélé.
"We are very excited to keep a player and teammate like William in tangerine," said Manager Ray McKinnon. "This is a marvellous boost ahead of the run-in to the season's end. William has impressed with his performance levels and durability, and we believe he is a significant fit within our plans to continually progress this Club. He is a fantastic pro who is an asset to the team on the pitch and the dressing room and this is the start of my rebuilding process."
William has so far made 26 appearances for United, scoring two goals. He joined the Terrors in August 2016 and immediately became a fans' favourite.
A 29-year-old Parisian, Edjenguélé appeared for Bury, Coventry City, Le Mans, Neuchatel Xamax, Panetolikos and Veria in his career before McKinnon lured him to Tannadice.
