Alex Smith was less than satisfied with the showing on Monday of United's Under-21s who went down 5-0 to Celtic.
"It was poor," he confessed. "In football you always look to take something from a game. It is a really bad, bad day when you get nothing from a match. But apart from one or two wee bits the performance was nothing like we were looking for."
"Young Stuart Duff had another promising game, Ronnie O'Brien did alright considering it was his first match for a while, Stephen Carson started well and Stephen Wright tried to hold things together for a spell-but there was nothing else," the United boss said.
