Norman Jamieson Signs Up For Two Years

Dundee United today announced a brand new two-year title partnership deal with long standing Club sponsor Norman Jamieson Ltd.  

For the next two seasons, Norman Jamieson will proudly be displayed on the back of the home and away shirts. The Haulage Contractors have been proud supporters of Dundee United for many years and the latest announcement cements the backing the company have given to the Club. 

Dundee United’s Head of Commercial Paul Reid said, “We have over many years built up a wonderful relationship with Lynne, Stuart, Margaret and Norman at Norman Jamieson Ltd. Each season they show a fantastic level of commitment and support to the team and we are absolutely delighted to announce them as a main partner for the next two years.

“On a personal note, I am over the moon to see Norman Jamieson proudly displayed on the jerseys as while they have grown a successful business, they have at the same time, continually backed us through good times and bad. They really have shown a United partnership with us.”

Lynne Jamieson said, “Norman Jamieson Ltd have proudly been involved in sponsorship with Dundee United for 15 years now, although the family’s support started long before that. 

“We are looking forward to seeing the club move forward next season and wish them all the very best.”

Norman Jamieson Ltd is a family business started back in 1970, with one lorry driven by Norman and very quickly grew and now with a fleet of 20 vehicles, all named from members of the family.  Running alongside the haulage arm of the company is a very busy recycling centre for gravels and sand.

Norman and Margaret retired in 2002 but still love to come to Tannadice for all the home games.
