Dundee United today announce Craig Easton has been appointed to the new role of Reserve Team Manager.
A product of the United youth academy, Craig played 259 times for the Tangerines in an eight-year playing career at Tannadice before moving to Livingston, Leyton Orient, Swindon Town, Southend United, Dunfermline Athletic and Torquay United before he retired in 2013.
In 2016, Craig was appointed Head Coach of Raith Rovers Development Squad where he led the team to consecutive SPFL Development League East titles in 2016/17 and 2017/18.
Craig said, “It’s been a really difficult decision to leave Raith Rovers, where I’ve had two of my most enjoyable years in football. However, the opportunity to come back to the place where it all began for me and to take on a new challenge at an exciting time for everyone involved, was one I couldn’t turn down.
"Whenever I come back to Tannadice, it feels like home and I can’t wait to give something back to the youth system that played a major part in my career and started my professional football journey.”
