Manager Alex. Smith will confirm to three players that he sees their future away from Tannadice.
He has already spoken to French defender John Licina, who has been on loan with Arbroath since 23 August, and Cameroon striker Mvondo Atangana about moving them on. He will also have discussions with winger Neil Heaney, who unlike the other two was not signed by Alex Smith, about the same topic. Between them they have played less than forty games in total.
In recent months, Licina and Atangana had been close to moving back overseas and Heaney's name has been mentioned in conjunction with part-swops with incoming players but the proposed transfers have to date fallen through.
Smith said: "I want to help these three get fixed up elsewhere as it's important to trim my first-team squad. I need to create a wee bit of room if I want to try to bring in one or two fresh faces."
