Dundee United can confirm midfielder Sam Stanton has left the Club to continue his football career in the USA.

The 25-year-old played 102 times in total for the Tangerines scoring 12 goals. He was instrumental in strong performances over November and December scoring three crucial goals during the current impressive run the team is on.

Signed in July 2017, Sam has epitomised the steady growth within the squad with his performance level under Robbie Neilson and moves to this exciting phase of his career with the best wishes of all at the Club.
