His Manager has described him as one of the best attacking midfielders in the game and Charlie Miller's performance at Dens Park at the weekend confirmed Alex Smith's views on his talented and gifted playmaker.
"I was delighted to score in the derby match at the weekend but I am disappointed that we didn't kill them off in the first twenty minutes," is the Miller view on the Dundee match. "We played very well in parts of the game but to have come away with just a point in a match we should have won is a big disappointment. We outfought them throughout but we have to start winning games and challenge at the top end of the table. We are, after all, only seven points off of third position in the league."
Charlie's only other goal this season was also against Dundee when he hit the Tangerine's first league goal of the campaign in the 2-2 at Tannadice. He has now started 14 matches this season for United and has played 42 first team games since he joined the Club.
