Dundee United Football Club continues to be amazed at the support shown to International Business Development Manager Ricardo Cerdan as he again heads off into Ukraine to volunteer and assist the safe passage of refugees.

We are also delighted to announce that the Dundee United Development Association (DUDA) have confirmed their support also by donating the proceeds from this Saturday's Matchday 50:50 draw at Tannadice.

Tickets, priced at £2, will be available for sale in the club shop from Tuesday 9am up until 2.30pm on Saturday.

On Saturday at the Dundee derby, tickets will be available in the usual outlets within all sections of the stadium - including the stands housing the Dundee support.

Proceeds from the Matchday 50:50 usually go to Dundee United's Academy but given the humanitarian emergency that exists in the Ukraine, it was decided that all profits from this week's draw would be forwarded to financially support the continued work of Ricardo on his mission.

DUDA would also like to thank the Federation of Dundee United supporters clubs for kicking off the initiative by selling tickets on their buses to Easter Road last Saturday.

Colin Stewart, DUDA Chairperson, said: “We encourage all supporters of both our city's teams to support this initiative as this is an opportunity to provide financial assistance to help support the young people of Ukraine who are living in desperate and dangerous conditions.”

United with Ukraine t-shirt's also remain on sale online currently.
