With Season ticket sales having achieved record sales this campaign, it is no surprise that membership of the official Junior Supporters clubs, the Young Lions (up to age 11) and the Young Arabs (12-18 years) have also registered record numbers.
The combined membership is now almost at the 2,000 mark and recently Nadine Duffy of Dundee became the official 1,000th Young Lion for season 2001-2002. To mark the event, the Club invited Nadine and her family to Tannadice for the SPL match against Livingston where they enjoyed Corporate Hospitality in the Executive Suite.

Commercial Manager Bill Campbell said, "It is vital that we maintain a very strong level of young people's support. This is the next generation of supporters and the work put in through projects such as the Young Lions, the Young Arabs, the Super Sevens and all of John Holt's Community Coach work will hopefully maintain and grow the outstanding level of support that United are currently enjoying."
