Dundee United can confirm that Lee Sharp has joined Jim Goodwin’s coaching staff as Assistant Manager.
Goodwin brings his trusted assistant to Tannadice after spells together at Alloa Athletic, St Mirren and most recently Aberdeen.
Speaking to DUTV, our new Manager highlighted the need for consistency as we tackle the final 12 matches of the league campaign:
"With me being Manager and Lee coming in as my assistant, there are not going to be any players leaving and there are not going to be any new players coming in. The backroom team that's here right now, along with the players, are the ones responsible to ensure that we maintain our Premiership status for next season."
Goodwin takes to the Tannadice dugout for the first time this Saturday, as we clash with his former club Aberdeen in a 6pm kick-off.
