Dundee United can confirm the club have parted company with Women's Team Head Coach Graeme Hart with immediate effect.

Appointed in August 2021 following a three-year stint as a coach, Hart guided the team into SWPL 1, lifting the SWPL 2 trophy at Tannadice for the first time in the club’s history in his debut campaign at the helm.

The following year, Hart would steer the team to a tenth-place finish to ensure their top-flight status remained intact.

With 13 league matches of the current season remaining, the club have concluded that now is an appropriate time to make a change in leadership as we look to continue to progress as a team, in line with the current exponential growth of Women's football in Scotland.

Dundee United would like to place on record their gratitude to Graeme for his services, commitment and dedication throughout a five-and-a-half-year period at Tannadice and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Assistant Head Coach Drew Myles has been placed in interim charge of the team while the process to appoint a permanent successor takes place.

The club are now inviting applications for the vacant role, details of which will be advertised in due course.
