Dundee United Joins Pledgeball, Pioneering Sustainable Football Practices in Scotland

Dundee United are proud to mark a significant milestone as we become the first Scottish club to partner with Pledgeball!

Pledgeball is a research-backed charity that supports sports bodies to engage fans on environmental sustainability and climate change. Working with stakeholders across the UK football community, from clubs, County FAs and leagues to the Football Supporters' Association, Pledgeball effectively mobilises fans and players to make pro-environmental choices, reducing emissions on game day and beyond.

With this partnership, Dundee United joins Pledgeball's esteemed family of clubs, striving for positive change. It serves as a kick-off of Dundee United's commitment to nurturing a brighter, more sustainable future for both the beautiful game of football and our precious planet.

Arabs have the potential to make a significant change:

• If all Dundee United’s X followers reduced their meat consumption by 50%, it would save the same emissions as taking 7294 cars off the road.
• If all Dundee United’s X followers used public transport instead of driving, it would save the same emissions as taking 15,131 cars off the road.

In line with this partnership, our inaugural Pledgeball match will take place on March 9th against Arbroath.

Fans on the leaderboard have the opportunity to win exclusive prizes, including:

• Meet-the-team session, providing a unique opportunity to interact with players and coaching staff at a training session and lunch
