Dundee United FC Women are delighted to announce Ellie May Cowie as their first signing of the summer, subject to SFA approval.

The 23-year-old heads along the A90 from St Johnstone, where she began her footballing journey 15 years ago. Cowie, who is very adaptable and can operate in a number of positions on the pitch, finished the season as the Perth outfit’s top goalscorer, finding the net 16 times in only 25 games.
Upon joining the club, Cowie expressed her eagerness to get going at Foundation Park, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining this club. It's a massive club and the drive and ambition within is something I strive to be involved with, and I’m buzzing to get started.”
“I believe I bring good qualities to the team as along with the fight and aggression required, I bring passion to the team, as well as flair with some freeedom to be creative on the pitch.”
The squad return to their Foundation Park base for Pre-Season Training this coming Sunday, as the countdown begin's to their Scottish Power SWPL 1 opener away to Celtic on 11 August.
