Dundee United can announce Academy graduate Ruairidh Adams has joined William Hill League One outfit Kelty Hearts on a short-term loan deal.
The 20-year-old embarks on the fourth temporary stint away from Tannadice, following spells with Lothian Thistle, Gala Fairydean Rovers and Edinburgh City respectively.
The latter saw him become the only goalkeeper in the entirety of the SPFL pyramid to score a goal whilst playing between the sticks during the 2023/24 campaign, rippling the net against Queen of the South deep into second half stoppage time. Despite being a close-range effort, the strike was enough to scoop City's Goal of the Season Award.

Adams follows in the footsteps of fellow United youngster Lewis O’Donnell, who made 38 competitive appearances for Michael Tidser’s side last term as they battled for a place in the promotion play-offs.
Everyone at Dundee United wishes Ruairidh the best of luck at New Central Park, and look forward to welcoming him back to Tayside in January.
