Dundee United secured their third win of 2024/25 over St Mirren as defenders Kevin Holt and Emmanuel Adegboyega netted in the closing stages to send the Buddies back to Paisley empty-handed.
The victory sent the hosts five points clear of their opponents in the William Hill Premiership despite having played a game fewer.
