Dundee United can confirm Jack Newman has joined William Hill Championship outfit Livingston on loan until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The shot-stopper spent the opening months of the season with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, making seven competitive appearances before returning to Tannadice prematurely due to the Highland club's off-field difficulties.

Newman has also been named in two Scotland U21 squads alongside his Terrors colleagues Miller Thomson and Kai Fotheringham so far this term.

Livingston, eyeing an immediate return to the top flight, currently occupy third spot in the Championship table, seven points behind league-leaders, Falkirk.

Everyone at Dundee United wishes Jack the best of luck for his temporary stint in West Lothian.
