Dundee United can confirm Academy graduate Ruairidh Adams' loan spell with William Hill League One outfit Kelty Hearts has been extended until the end of the season.

The budding 'keeper has is yet to miss a moment of league action for Michael Tidser's men this term, with 21 appearances under his belt so far.

With Adams between the sticks, Kelty have conceded the fewest goals in the third tier, and kept the most clean sheets - with ten. As a result, the Maroon Machine sit just three points off Arbroath at the summit of the table.

Despite his youth, the 20-year-old already has over 5,000 minutes of senior action to his name, following formative temporary stints with Lothian Thistle, Gala Fairydean Rovers and Edinburgh City respectively prior to his arrival at New Central Park.

Everyone at Dundee United wishes Ruairidh and Klety the best of luck for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
