Dundee United can confirm promising defender Charlie Dewar has joined William Hill League One side Alloa Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
The Englishman was eyed by Terrors scouts playing for South Shields in the North-East, and crossed the border in the summer of 2023 to bolster the Young Terrors’ defensive options.
He’s been an ever-present in the CAS Under-18s Elite League so far this term, whilst also featuring in both the Challenge Cup and SPFL Reserve Cup with our B-team.
The Wasps are looking to end a four-season absence from the second tier, currently within touching distance of Arbroath at the summit of the table.
Dewar, weather dependent, is in line to make his Clackmannanshire bow tomorrow afternoon - Inverness Caledonian Thistle the visitors to the Indodrill Stadium on Matchday 22.
