Maurice Malpas is set to field his youngest line-up yet when the United Under-21's, currently sixth in the League, face 3rd-placed Livingston at Tannadice tonight. In an interview ahead of today's clash, Malpas commented: "Due to the current injury situation, we have no other option than to play an extremely young team. It promises to be a most instructive encounter especially with next season in mind and whilst, of course, we will be looking for a win, our main focus will be on how well the lads cope with the challenge of playing at that level. The players had three rest days after last week's heavy schedule, so we are hopeful the team can produce a similarly vibrant performance to the one that gained us three points when beating Livingston away earlier this season."
Tonight's pool: Jarvie, Fionda, Allum, Anderson, Gartland, Waddell, Carson, O'Donnell, Reilly, Ogunmade, McConalogue, Winters, McGowan, Burns, Callaghan, Holmes.
The match kicks off at 7.00pm at Tannadice.
