MCQUILLAN JOINS ALLOA ON LOAN

Experienced defender John McQuillan, who joined United from St. Johnstone on 17 February 2000, has been allowed to sign for First Division Alloa on a short-term loan deal until almost the end of the current season.

Alex Smith explained, "I feel that we have sufficient cover for his position, and John's experience ought to prove valuable to the youngsters at Recreation Park."
