United booked their place in the last eight of the Scottish Cup with two first half goals at Fir Park today.
A fourth minute goal by Charlie Miller allowed United to take control and their first half domination was rewarded by a second goal in the 38th minute scored by Craig Easton.
A controlled performance in the second half was enough to keep a livelier Motherwell at bay and the travelling Arabs, noisy throughout, were boisterous in their end of game acknowledgement of the team's impressive display.
