FEW CHANGES FOR RANGERS CUP TIE

8th March 2001

The team that put four past St Mirren last Saturday is likely to be handed the chance to shine again when Rangers visit Tannadice on Scottish Cup business this weekend.

On Thursday Manager Alex Smith hinted heavily that he would not be making any changes for Sunday night's quarter-final. "I was happy with the way the boys played against St Mirren and I'll be keeping any changes to a minimum, if any at all," revealed Alex.

Meanwhile there was more good news of long term injury victims when it emerged Jim Paterson should be ready to start playing again early next month, while David Partridge should get a game even sooner following his recovery from illness.
