ALL OUT FOR VICTORY

19th April 2001

Manager Alex Smith reacted on Thursday to suggestions a draw in Monday's crunch match at St Mirren would be a good result by promising United will be going all out for victory.

"We know that a draw would still leave us in a good position, but we will be positive in everything we do because a win would leave us seven points ahead of them with just four games to go," he said.

United look set to be well supported at Love Street, as many as 3000 fans are expected to travel to the west despite the game being shown live on television.

There are no injury problems after Steven Thompson proved his fitness by training despite a bruised foot.
