Dundee United can confirm that over 4000 season tickets have already been sold for the new campaign with five days still remaining until the end of the loyalty price period.
The ‘We Are United’ campaign was launched on April 24th and the loyalty price period was extended from June 7 until July 5 to allow supporters greater flexibility in securing a seat at Tannadice for 2015/16. Supporters have responded in excellent numbers with several of the new initiatives proving popular.
Under-12 season tickets, priced at £19, are now available in all lower stands and, with frozen adult prices from £299, Arabs can still grab a bargain before Sunday’s deadline date.
Manager Jackie McNamara said: “The response from our fans has been excellent and buying their tickets before the end of the loyalty period deadline allows me to continue structuring the squad ahead of the season start in August.
“Our home record is excellent compared to a few seasons ago and a big part of that has been the backing from the stands. The season ticket holders are the biggest and most consistent part of that support and I am extremely grateful to them.”
United’s first three home fixtures, top matches versus Aberdeen, Dundee and Celtic, are sure to prove popular and the additional benefit of securing your seat for these fixtures is another reason to grab your season ticket before the July 5th deadline.
With the ticket centre expected to be busy over the deadline weekend, opening hours have been extended to include
Saturday 9am until 5pm and Sunday 10am until 4pm. Season tickets can also be purchased online via the
WeAreUnited site or by telephone 01382 833166 (options 1 or 3).
