Following on from the excitement of the Dundee derby, United suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at Hamilton last Saturday. United therefore have the chance to put things right
this Saturday when champions Celtic come calling for a high
noon Ladbrokes Premiership clash.

Confidence may be low but United have a young side and these players will hope to bounce back quickly. Amazingly the sides met seven times in total last season, with United winning and drawing a game against Celtic at Tannadice. Therefore Jackie McNamara and his team will be looking for another positive result at the weekend. The home side will take heart that a struggling Kilmarnock side took a point from the champions in their last away game so Celtic are by no means invincible.
Much has been made of United players moving to Celtic and it is possible that Armstrong and Mackay-Steven will return at the weekend, however Nadir Ciftci will miss out through suspension. Celtic again showed their intent when they signed former United man, Scott Allan, from Hibs last week and he could be in line for his debut. After their narrow win in Europe
on Wednesday the visitors may have one eye on the return leg when it comes to their team selection.
However the home fans will be more interested in their own side and several players will be looking for a starting berth, particularly after the result last weekend. Question marks still remain over when Sneijder, Bilate, Morris and Dow will return, however Paul Paton will be out for the long term with a knee injury.
Right now, United need their support behind them more than ever. Let's get behind the boys and here's hoping for another memorable result at Tannadice.
C'MON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
