United travel to visit Celtic on Ladbrokes Premiership business this Sunday. The Hoops have leapfrogged Aberdeen last weekend to resume pole position in the league and tend to prove a formidable force at their home ground.

Nevertheless, Ronny Deila's side were defeated in a disappointing and physically draining 3-1 loss at Molde on Thursday night and have meetings against Hearts, Aberdeen and a return leg against Molde approaching in the space of nine days.
United's frustrating defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian last Sunday has left the Tangerines four points adrift off 11th placed Partick Thistle. As well as missing the attacking threat of the suspended Blair Spittal, Head Coach Paatelainen will also be without long-term absentees Paul Paton, Chris Erskine, Mario Bilate and Paul Dixon.
The sides have already met once this season when a 3-1 loss at Tannadice handed the Hoops the win back in August. Celtic took the lead early on through the dangerous Leigh Griffiths, before Deila's side added a second when Mark Durnan directed a cross into his own net. Right on the stroke of half time however, Arabs were handed a glimmer of hope when Chris Erskine coolly slotted home a penalty into the bottom corner of the net but, with 15 minutes to play and United pushing for that equaliser, a deflected Callum McGregor strike ensured that all three points returned to Parkhead.
After his first full week at the helm of the Club, the new United boss will be looking for a more organised defensive performance and an improved effort to capitalise on the few openings the clash with the Champions will offer.
Sunday’s opponents should certainly give Mixu’s men plenty of opportunity to show their mettle and the battle spirit needed to climb back up the table in the weeks to come.
Come On United!!!
