United were this afternoon defeated at Tannadice, a second-half Kris Doolan strike sealing the three points for the visitors.

United made only one change to the side that drew at Rugby Park last weekend, John Rankin dropping to the bench for Guy Demel, who made his first start to the club since signing, whilst Callum Morris returned from injury, replacing Sean Dillon.
It was a very scrappy first-half, few chances for both sides, and the vast majority of the play being knocked about in the midfield. United were, however, handed decent opportunities through a few set-pieces, but both Gavin Gunning and Charlie Telfer's efforts flew well wide.
It was the visitors who opened the scoring just six minutes into the second-half, striker Kris Doolan twisting inside the box before placing his shot into the back of the net.
United did really push for the equaliser thereafter, Blair Spittal coming close when his deflected strike from outside the box flew narrowly past the post.
United could perhaps feel hard done by when referee Steven McLean turned down what looked to be a penalty, Callum Morris's volley hitting the arm of a Thistle player.
