United came back from New Douglas Park on Saturday with a point, mainly thanks to a late Kawashima penalty save. For this reason, together with a Kilmarnock win on Saturday, it almost makes tonight's rearranged game with Motherwell a must win.

United had their moments on Saturday, backed by a fantastic support, and will hope to continue their unbeaten run when Mark McGhee's side come calling tonight. However this time out a clean sheet and three points is what's required.
After losing out to Killie, the Steelmen have dropped to second bottom place and United can look at the prospect of three games against the Fir Park side between now and the end of the season as defining.
Mixu Paatelainen and Mark McGhee both took on very difficult jobs at roughly the same time. Initially it was McGhee's side that were picking up positive results however this has turned slightly in recent weeks and it is now Mixu's men who have had a series of better results, with two wins and a draw in the last three games.
United need wins now though and Tuesday night would be the time to start as Motherwell are certainly catchable but on their day are a good side that now includes former United favourite Morgaro Gomis. United will take heart that they beat Motherwell earlier this season although a lot has happened since the 2-0 win for the Terrors back in August. That day a Louis Laing own goal and Simon Murray's first for the club won United the points and the same result on Tuesday would do just fine.
C'Mon Arabs, let's get behind the team like we did on Saturday and against Killie in the recent 5-1 win, and as we have done all season! We can do this.
C'mon United!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
