Midfielder Paul Paton has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for February 2016.
Paton scored goals in consecutive victories over Hearts and Ross County as United revived their hopes of survival with two wins and a draw in four Premiership fixtures.
The 28-year-old returned from long-term injury in January’s cup victory over Airdrie and was recently described by Head Coach Mixu Paatelainen as a “man mountain” for his performances.
Paton last won this award back in September 2014, four months after making his International debut for Northern Ireland and captained the team again in yesterday’s fantastic 3-2 cup quarter-final victory at Dingwall.
