Dundee United can today announce initial ticket allocation and sales details for the forthcoming semi-final of the William Hill Scottish Cup at Hampden Park against Hibernian.
The game takes place on Saturday 16
th April at 12.15pm and United fans will enjoy a choice of seating and prices.
The Club is keen to make sure that the players are greeted by a sea of tangerine and black on the day and United’s initial allocation will be 4,000 seats in the North Stand priced at £28 adults and £12 concession, 3300 seats in the adjoining West Stand priced at £18 adult and £7 concession and 729 seats in the BT South Stand to supporters at the £28 and £12 prices. In the event that these initial allocations are sold further seats will be made available.
It is the aim of the Club, subject to availability of tickets, to have tickets on sale exclusively to season ticket holders from Saturday 26
th March through to Thursday 31 March. Thereafter a general sale will commence on Friday 1
st April through until Friday 15
th April.
A Club spokesperson said: “Our return to Hampden Park is keenly anticipated for what is sure to be a great occasion and we hope that as many of our supporters will travel to back the team. Prices have been pegged in agreement with the Scottish FA and the other three clubs at what we believe are fair rates for the semi-final of Scotland’s showpiece domestic cup competition and everyone at the club is looking forward to being part of this special occasion. United fans have travelled in great numbers for all the rounds of the William Hill Scottish Cup so far and we’re sure the fans will once again be loud and proud in their thousands as the team bid to reach their third domestic cup final in as many seasons.”
