Pupils from St John`s HS will be seeking donations of no longer used CD and MP3 players from United fans at the home game v Morton on 25th of February in support of the Playlist for Life Project.
Working in partnership with United for All and DUFC, the pupils have already visited St Joseph's Care Home and have started the process of creating playlists for the residents. ArabTRUST have kindly donated £200 towards the cost of giving the residents (many of whom are dementia suffers) a pair of individual headphones.
On the day of the Morton game, collection bins will be located at the approaches to both the George Fox and Eddie Thompson stands manned by pupils and staff between 2pm and 3pm. The school will then sort through what has been collected and will go to the Care Home on the 1st of March to present the head phones and suitable CD/MP3 players along with the play lists sourced at the first visit.
Playlist For Life is a national project and more info can be found
