Community Trust Promotes Children's Mental Health Book

Marking Children's Mental Health Week, the Community Trust were delighted to launch today Lucy’s Blue Day, an innovative book by Chris Duke aimed at helping primary aged children cope with feelings of anxiety and unhappiness.  Around 150 children from Our Lady’s, Rosebank, St Peter and Paul's, Dens Road and Claypotts Castle Primary Schools packed into the West End Suite for the official launch of the book.  The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Linzi McLelland (Miss Scotland) followed by terrific entertainment from Leigh Milne (Scotland's Magic Sensation). The event culminated in a fantastic and emotive first reading of the book, delivered by the Trust's Honorary Patron, Lorraine Kelly.
