Tannadice welcomes representatives from the Jim McLean Tribute Group on Saturday as the Club hosts an awareness day to highlight the fundraising campaign to erect a statue of Jim McLean within Tannadice Park.

United players will warm-up in Jim McLean t-shirts that will also be available to purchase within the concourses. There will also be bucket collection points allowing fans to contribute to the project.

Representatives of the Jim McLean Tribute Group will be on hand within the concourses to advise of how fans can play their part in the fundraising.

Already over £20,000 has been pledged, and sculptor Alan Heriot has been commissioned to create the statue with £70,000 required to see the project succeed.

The project, governed by Dundee United's Community Trust, has the full support of the McLean family and fans can make an online donation via the JustGiving page.
