Ahead of kick-off against Morton on Saturday, Club legend Mogens Berg will be introduced to the Tannadice crowd. The 75-year-old quickly became a fans' favourite during the 1960s due to a combination of his energetic and busy style along with his wide range of passing.

The former winger, who rose to prominence in United folklore during his four-year spell with the Club (1964-1968) scoring 16 goals in 61 appearances, including a hat-trick against St Johnstone in United's run to the summer Cup final in 1964.

This week, Berg visited Tannadice to reminisce on his time at the Club, reflecting on how his signing came to be and some of his personal favourite moments in the famous United shirt as he and his family were taken on a stadium tour by the Business Club's Tom Cairns.

Berg was born in Odense, Denmark, and made his start in amateur football with Boldklubben 1909. He lifted the Danish Cup and Danish First Division title during his time with his local club and was also called up to the Danish national team, drawing the attention of United manager Jerry Kerr. He would make the move to Scotland to allow his career to become professional.

His time with the Terrors was hampered by a back injury, however, meaning he missed out as the Club achieved its highest ever league finish. He later returned to Denmark and finish his career with Boldklubben 1909 but his links with Scotland did not end with his departure from United. He made another five caps for his country which included a 1-0 win over Scotland in 1971.

United are delighted to welcome Mo back to Tannadice and look forward to him receiving a warm tangerine welcome prior to Saturday's 3pm kickoff.
