After seven points from three games in the week prior, the Women’s squad will look to continue their recent good form when they host Boroughmuir Thistle on Sunday.
This will be their third game in a row at the Regional Performance Centre, albeit their final one before the winter break starts in mid December.
The two sides met at the beginning of the voided 2020 season in February when they took part in a twelve-goal thriller. Danni McGinley was one of three United players making her debut and she made a massive impression with five goals of her own as it ended 8-4 to Gavin Beith’s side.
Boroughmuir started the season poorly but have picked up in recent weeks with two wins in their last three, victories over Stirling University and St Johnstone pulling them into the rest of the pack and away from the bottom of the table in terms of points.
Captain Keira Johnstone and striker Danni McGinley continue to recover from injury and will hope to return before the winter break, however Ellie-Jai Reid is still on the long term list.
Kick off on Sunday is at 3pm and updates for this will be on Twitter @dundeeunitedwfc while highlights will be available on YouTube at a later time.
