WOMEN'S GAME PREVIEW

The women’s team are in home action this Sunday with their penultimate game of the SBSSWPL2 season at home to title chasing Aberdeen.

Gavin Beith’s side are still in the promotion hunt but after Wednesday’s defeat to Hamilton Academical, it is out of their own hands as they must hope that Accies drop points in their final two games while bettering their results.

Sunday’s opponents will earn both promotion and the league title with a win and United will be hoping to avenge the opening day 4-3 defeat, while also bouncing back after their eleven game unbeaten run was ended on Wednesday.

Kick-off at the Regional Performance Centre is at 2.45PM, however spectators are not allowed entry due to venue restrictions.
