MINUTE'S APPLAUSE TO BE HELD AHEAD OF KICK-OFF IN MEMORY OF BILLY THOMSON

Fans attending Saturday's Scottish Cup Fifth Round match at Tannadice are invited to join in a minute's applause prior to kick-off as we celebrate the life and career of Billy Thomson.

A first-team regular until 1991, Billy made over 200 appearances for United, and was part of the squad that achieved the historic feat of reaching the UEFA Cup Final in 1987.

Everyone at Dundee United continues to extend their condolences to Billy's family and friends.
