Dundee United FC Women are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Beth Rennie from Heart of Midlothian, subject to SFA approval.
The goalkeeper makes the journey to Foundation Park after recently signing her first professional contract with the Edinburgh side.
The 18-year-old gained valuable experience at Boroughmuir Thistle last season and will hope to build on this in 2024/25 as she battles with Beth Mowatt for the number one spot.
After joining, Rennie praised how welcoming the club has been and believes she is in the right place to develop further.
“The girls and coaching staff have been really welcoming, and I’m really looking forward to getting the season started.”
“It was really important for me this season to continue developing by playing competitive fixtures, and I think that Dundee United is the place for me to do that. It will give me a great opportunity to gain experience in the top flight.”
Head Coach Suzy Shepherd is of the belief that Rennie is exactly the type of person she wants at the club, commenting “I am looking forward to working with Beth this season, she’s the kind of character we want in our changing room and is already settled in and working well with our goalkeeping team.”
