Dundee United FC can confirm the signing of defender Amilie Martindale ahead of the new season kicking off on Saturday.
The centre-back heads down the A90 after a spell at Aberdeen and is keen to get going with United.
Prior to her move north, Martindale also spent time at a successful Dundee East side alongside new teammate Amy Taylor.
Upon joing up at the club, the 17-year-old believes this is the perfect place for her to learn and grow as a player.
“I believe this is a great opportunity for me to grow as a player, and it’s exciting to see how I develop over the course of the season.”
Suzy Shepherd reckons Martindale can build on her first season at senior level last season as she comes into Foundation Park.
“Amilie has a lot of good attributes and I look forward to helping her further develop and challenge herself this season.”
