Colin Clement(ArabTRUST nominee) |
Colin joined the board in September 2016. Colin is now retired having worked with Keyline Builders Merchants for over 34 years latterly in a number of senior management positions including Product Development Director and Regional Director covering Scotland and the North of England, within these roles Colin was responsible for customer and supplier relationship management, strategic planning and employee relations with full P & L responsibility. Since retiring Colin has become involved in a number of local charities focusing on deprivation and social inclusion within the community |
Colin Stewart (Dundee United FC nominee) |
Colin is Principal Teacher of Music at St John’s RC High School in Dundee. He is an Associate Director at Dundee United FC and has been a board member since November 2013. He originally joined the board as part of his duties as ArabTRUST’s Associate Director. In May 2016, as part of a new role as a Club Associate Director, he took up the position as a DUFC nominee. |
David Dorward – Chairman (DUFC nominee) |
David joined the board in October 2015 and was elected Chairman in 2016. David is both the former Chief Executive of Dundee City Council and Chair of the Dundee Partnership and is currently a Director of Dundee United FC. David has significant experience of the 3rd Sector from working with various other charity and voluntary organisations such as Dundee Bairns and The Rank Foundation. |
Gavin Muir – Vice Chairman (Independent nominee) |
Gavin is a Senior Manager for Lloyds Banking Group where he has worked for over 30 years and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. He originally joined the board as a representative of ArabTRUST in May 2015 and was elected Vice Chair in 2016. After stepping down from his role as Chair of ArabTRUST he was elected as an independent trustee in January 2018. Gavin’s key skills are in Finance and Governance. Gavin volunteers 1 day per month with DUCT, currently working towards our attainment of the Good Governance Award. |

Susan Batten (ArabTRUST nominee) |
Susan joined the board in April 2017. Susan is an experienced Finance Manager, having spent most of her career in Private Equity in London and now managing the finance function for a number of retail businesses in Edinburgh. Susan joined the Board of ArabTRUST in February 2017 and has been involved in all aspect of the running of ArabTRUST and assisting with the fundraising for a number of good causes. Susan was appointed as Chair of ArabTRUST in July 2018. |
